Village Zoning Bylaws
Bylaw #2002/02/01 requires one or all of the following to be submitted with the Development/Building Permit
  • two sets of plans and specifications of the proposed building:
  • a current real property report prepared by a registered land surveyor.  (Surveyor will ensure that corner pins or markers are of such a nature as to be permanent and visible to all.)
  • a current topographical report with or without land elevations, as specified by the development officer.

Copies of the Building Bylaw or Zoning Bylaw may be picked up at the Village Office.

Village Zoning Bylaws
Bylaw #2002/02/02 requires the following: Every application for a permit to construct, erect, place, alter, repair, renovate or reconstruct a building shall be Form A and shall be accompanied by such of the following documentation as may be required by the local authority:
  • Two sets of plans and specifications of the proposed building: A current real property report prepared by a registered land surveyor.
  • A current topographical report with or without land elevations, as specified by the development officer.
The Zoning/Building Inspector will evaluate the compliance of the construction to the related Acts and Bylaws. Inspections will be done on site before construction, demolition or the moving of any structure. Follow up inspections will be done during and after completion of the project. Permits are not required for fences under 6 feet in height or for the laying of paving stones.

Copies of the Building Bylaw or Zoning Bylaw may be picked up at the Village Office.
